Our Bistro - Beer Head Caravan Park

A stay with us isn’t complete unless you have visited our popular licensed Bistro. Situated at the bottom of the park the Bistro has wonderful sea views and offers home cooked food every day.
Reception & Wifi
After checking into your accommodation why not pick up leaflets on the best places to visit, find out about our wonderful coastal walks & tips to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our reception can be found when you drive into the park, on the left. If you are staying in one of our caravans or lodges your accommodation will be ready from 4pm onwards, this giving us time to undertake additional deep cleaning so please bear with us. On arrival please collect your key from reception.
If you are arriving later than 4:30pm please let us know so we can arrange key collection.
We are happy to accept Amazon and any other courier deliveries to Reception. Deliveries are kept in an unlocked storage bin outside so you can collect them whenever you want.
Please note we cannot be responsible for missing parcels.
If you need any help unloading your car after you have checked in or taking your luggage back to your car on your departure day, just let us know and we would be happy to assist.
Onsite shop
Our park shop stocks all those essential items - just in case you have forgotten something, from toilet rolls to locally made sausages! It is open every day during the holiday season and can be found next door to our Bistro. Open daily from 8am.
Post box
Post your letters & postcards. Our post box is situated just outside Reception, and it emptied daily – perfect for those postcards!
Laundrette
If you don't fancy the hassle of washing when you get back home take advantage of our coin operated washing machines & dryers. We also have irons & ironing boards available for use in the launderette area. Open 24 x 7.
Home grown herbs
Our herbs are there for you to pick and use. You will find our herb gardens at our Bistro and by Reception. Pop them in a cocktail or for your cooking!
Beer Head Caravan Park Library
Take a look at a variety of books for you to enjoy at our swap shop station. You will also find magazines to browse & games to play at your leisure. Open 24 x 7.
Dish washing area
Our indoor washing area is ideal to use & brings convenience to your camping holiday. There is also a freezer to use free of charge to keep your ice packs cold & a microwave to use at your convenience. Open 24 x 7.
Showers & body dryers
Our free hot & cold showers are situated next to our camping field. Open 24 x 7.
Why not dry our body heaters situated in our main camping showers. For only a £1 the warm stream of air quickly dries your body eliminating the need of a towel.
Disability & Baby Changing Facilities
Available are designated Disability Toilet & Baby Changing facilities conveniently situated next to our camping area. Open 24 x 7.
Dogs & dog walking area
A welcome for all dogs before they explore the countryside. Available at the top of the park. Take advantage of our wonderful coastal path along the Jurassic coast & admire the wonderful sea views with your 4 legged friends.
Turning our park green
Sustainability is important to us, and we have introduced the following in the park to help us become a greener business.
Re-fill Water Bottle Station
Help us to cut plastic waste by using our free re-fill stations to fill up your water bottle. You will find one at the top of the park and another one outside our Bistro.
EV charging points
Take advantage our charging points to charge your vehicle. We have 7 charging stations around the park and one at The Lookout Tower and are all FREE to use.
Green electricity
Our solar panels are situated just outside the park and help to supply electricity to our caravans.
Recycling points
Recycling is very important to us here at Beer Head Caravan Park & we encourage all of our guests to recycle as much as possible. Recycling areas are situated across the park for your convenience. For your interest we recycle rain & grey water for the flushing of our toilets. We also have solar panels on all our buildings & our van for use around the park is electric. Available 24 x 7.
Calor gas exchange
We can exchange your Calor gas bottles if your gas bottle is empty & if you wish to enjoy a BBQ or perhaps a fry up in our camping area. Available from 8am daily.
